This page explains the terms that apply when you use DocuCareer AI. By using the site, you agree to these terms. This is a general terms-of-service template; we recommend it be reviewed by a legal professional once payment features launch or as otherwise needed.
1. Description of the Service
DocuCareer AI is a web application offering AI-powered tools: CV/job posting match analysis, CV building, document summarization, and document conversion. Some features require an account and use credits; the document conversion tools don't require an account or credits.
2. Account and Credits
New accounts start with a limited number of free credits. You're responsible for your account's security (keeping your password private). Credits can't be transferred or exchanged for cash. Paid credit purchases/subscriptions are currently in development; this page will be updated once that feature launches.
3. About AI-Generated Output
Analysis results, generated CVs, cover letters, and document summaries are produced by AI based on the real information you provide. This output may not be error-free and is not a substitute for professional career, legal, or financial advice; always review it yourself before using or sending it.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use the service to produce illegal content, upload documents that infringe on someone else's rights, abuse the service (e.g., automated or excessive requests), or attempt to compromise the system's security.
5. Intellectual Property
Content you upload or generate (your CV, your documents) belongs to you. DocuCareer AI itself (the software, design, and brand name) belongs to DocuCareer AI.
6. Service Continuity
The service is under active development; features may change, be added, or be removed over time. No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation is made.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect damages arising from use of the service.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate the acceptable use rules.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; significant changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the current terms.
